Sliding Fee Scale and Discount Policy Checklist for HRSA Site Visit

The Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) is continually refining and clarifying the compliance requirements for health centers that apply for or receive federal award funds under the Health Center Program authorized by section 330 of the Public Health Service (PHS) Act.  In 2014, HRSA issued PIN 2014-02, which clarified the rules surrounding the sliding fee discounts (SFD) requirement.  PIN 2014-02 clearly lays out the specifics that need to be in the SFD policy.
